Envisioning Success while
Building Community
The Minneapolis Jewish community had been wrestling with the need to rethink its grantmaking for over a decade. After several failed attempts that resulted in a loss of trust across 14 grantee organizations and dozens of donors, I came in to design and drive a new robust process for practical decision-making and action.
Leadership By, For, and About Professionals with Disabilities
Few focused leadership development programs exist for professionals with disabilities, and those that do exist are often under the banner of DEI efforts -- with little understanding of true "accessibility."
Disability Lead had a vision for a solution -- a two-day, online Leadership Summit, but lacked the in-house knowledge or skills to develop and launch what they hoped to become a signature program. I came in and made it all happen.

Reframing Community Strategy and Tactics on Disability Inclusion
The Minneapolis Jewish community has long struggled to meet the needs of community members with disabilities. Three organizations have expertise and decades of on-the-ground expertise with disability inclusion, but lacked the ability to work collaboratively. All three also felt that no matter what they did, the problem would remain.

If the community was to make progress, we needed to change both the relationships and the nature of the conversations.
Collaborative Problem Solving for Scholarship Distribution
A community foundation's camp scholarship program lacked consistency and transparency in its highly subjective and prone to human error award-making process.

With a very tight timeline and a wide variety of stakeholders, I came in to create a robust, equitable process that not only served the foundation's needs but harmonized with the scholarship programs offered at the camps themselves.
